Warranty

 

24 months warranty & support

All Stoov products are covered by the Stoov Product warranty. The Stoov Product warranty is a manufacturer warranty covering any manufacturing defects, including improper or inferior workmanship, materials, and design during the designated warranty period of 24 months. Stoov will repair or replace any part that becomes defective within the warranty period. If you wish to make a claim under the Stoov warranty, please contact our customer service. The contact details of our customer service can be found on the last page of the manual.The warranty period begins on the date of delivery. To avail of the warranty benefits, proof of purchase must be provided.

This warranty does not include malfunctions or defects as a result of improper, negligent or careless handling, use which is not in accordance with the manual, accidental damage, repairs or attempts to repair undertaken by any party other than Stoov B.V, use of parts or accessories which are not Stoov components, damages caused by external factors out of our control, normal wear and tear (including parts that might wear out over time) and battery performance. For correct use of your product, please refer to the manual. Repair or replacement of damaged parts do not extend the warranty. All rechargeable batteries have a limited lifespan and may eventually need to be replaced and recycled. Your own battery’s lifespan will vary depending on how you use your device as well as the settings you choose for it.

This warranty applies in the country in which the product is purchased and applies in addition to your legal warranty rights as a consumer. Your legal warranty rights are not limited or affected by this warranty. Business customers cannot claim under this consumer legislation.

Applicable law

The terms and conditions of this warranty are subject to the laws of the Netherlands. All disputes arising in connection with the warranty shall be brought before the authorized Dutch court (unless the applicable law imperatively designates another court as competent). 

AU: Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the product repaired or replaced if the product fails to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

 

Extended warranty

By registering your Stoov product within 30 days after the delivery date, you will receive an additional 1 year of warranty. This will bring the total warranty period to 3 years. During the extended warranty period, Stoov continues to warrant that the Stoov product will remain free from defects in materials and workmanship, in line with the original warranty statement provided above. The extended warranty is exclusively available to end user consumers, not to any company or organization that has purchased the product for resale or commercial use. By registering for the extended warranty, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. To activate this extra year of warranty, please follow these steps:

  1. Scan the QR code found above, or go to stoov.com/registration.
  2. Go to ‘Register now’ and fill in the required information.
  3. You will receive a confirmation email to confirm your application for the extended warranty.

To make use of the extended warranty, the product should be registered within 30 days after the delivery date. To be able to claim the warranty, a copy of the receipt or invoice must be retained by you as proof of purchase.
